Flame Trap Relocation Kit.
IPD had a great idea when they came up with the flame trap relocation kit. It is still very difficult to install the emission hose that connects the flame trap to the oil trap. I came up with the idea of using a 9” long piece of 1” thin wall metal tubing as a guide and stabilizer for the emission hose when pushing it onto the oil trap nipple. Put the emission hose inside the metal tube with about a half an inch of rubber sticking out the bottom. Push hose on to oil trap with with a twisting motion. You may need some large pliers to remove metal tubing. Be sure to push hose down as you pull the metal tubing off.
Happy Trails,
Mark.
