I am having a heck of a starting problem. Sometimes the car just cranks but no start. When it gets cooler out, like at night, it seems to start right up. With temps in the mid 90s I have wondered if I might have over filled the gas tank. In the past I have suspected that my in-tank full pump might be going as the motor starts to go lean with about 1/4 of a tank left. I have been driving like that for about 3 years now. I have also been wondering if my anti-siphon might be failing but I cannot see how that would account for this. I pulled the throttle body and cleaned it up yesterday. It was not too dirty. The car eventually started up but not right away. I drove it around to burn off some gas hoping it might be something simple like an overfilled gas tank. I now have about 3/4 tank and will try to start it up again this afternoon too see how it goes. Any theories about what might be going on here? I would appreciate any help y'all can send me.
