trans flange 120-130

putting a '73 B20F/M40 in the 122. Thought I knew I would have to swap the flange between the two transmissions, but find the one from the '66 and from the '73 are the same radial size. However the '73 flange is 8.5mm longer than the '66 flange.

I'm wondering if I still have to swap them, or can I make up the difference in length somewhere else?

Last step, it's hanging ready to go presently.
