Hi,

I tried to change the right handbrake cable on my 1990-740 sedan. When I install, it's seem to be 2 inches too short, but when I compare with the old one, it's the same lenght.

I gave the maximum of play on the adjustment of the central cable at the console.

Normally I guess in these conditions it's must be easy to connect and I finish at the adjusting nut at the console?

I guess my central cable is my problem, but it's a pretty expensive part. I don't want to change it for nothing...

Any advise appreciate.
