Bad Engine Mount? 200 1986

Inga my 86 245DL 215K Auto is Vibrating badly when you put the car in drive. Thought is was the tranny mount but that looks solid.

Sitting in Neutral or Park she has no vibration. But put her in drive and you can see the engine vibrate badly, and feel it in the brake petal. Car runs just find at speed and everything else seems to be normal. Had a couple of hard hits under the car by a chunk of tire belt on Thursday.

So how you check for a bad engine mount? What to you look for in other words.

This is getting old real quick.
