89 740 Temp guage schematic? 700

Where can I find a schematic for the temp guage circuit board for the 89
740?
The guage is essentially an idiot light with three preset conditions.
Cold, OK/ warmed up, and Red Zone/Panic
It would be nice modify the 740 guage to function as a real temp guage.
The 740 has No external compensation board that the 200 series feature,
The meter has a resident circuit board w/o any description in my Volvo
740 Service manual/wiring diagram (TP 31383/1).
Anothe usefull feature along with restoring temp function might be an audio alarm when the engine approaches redline heat, Maybe save a head gasket?
