My '92 945T had been sagging at the rear and handling poorly over speed bumps. Closer inspection showed that there was oil leakage on each rear shock, which appeared to be ancient Boge. I ordered KYB Gas-Adjust shocks from FCPgroton.com after seeing some positive recommendations here and from the local independent shop.

Installing them was far easier than on the 240, which had the little spacer that rusted to the bolt.

They went on without any drama-- air tools made short work of it. The old shocks were shot-- one wouldn't bounce back from a compressed state, the other one did only slightly better and both were very rusty.

The result was remarkable-- before the new shocks the car had a pronounced sag to the driver's side, and I thought I was in for springs. The ride height is now exactly 26" on each side and the handling is impressive for a shock that costs less than $40. They certainly damp better than the new Boge shocks I put on the 240 some time ago, which I won't buy again.
