Got the blower motor changed on saturday....see other post...got everything put together and while driving home noticed the upshift light was on....but the OD was working fine....click on..click off...next day started the car....OD light is flickering fast almost on solid....revved the motor a little and the light was on solid....hmmmm....pulled the gauge cluster and found that in my haste to be done and gone, i hooked the tach wire (red/white) where the OD (red/yellow) should go...on the spade connector on the lower right as you're looking forward....Sooo..if you're without any other way to verify the ignition pulses hooking up the tach wire to the spade lug on the back of the gauge cluster will pulse the OD upshift arrow.....could even hook up a 12v LED to the tach wire and then just ground the other side of the LED.....anyway, just thought I'd pass this along..........j.
