What will I need in order to add an electric cooling fan to my 1985 245 GL? I live in Florida, and such an addition would be beneficial. We get a lot of traffic gridlock here, and the temp guage sometimes creeps to about 9:30. All the cooling equipment is in good condition, and clean. Just thinking that this might be a welcome modification. I feel that I woluld need the fan, a relay, and a different temp. sending unit at the minimum. Anything else that you can think of? What year donor car should I look for? Or even better a useable part number would be really nice.
