Ok, I've checked the brickFAQs, and I've got some theories, but to test the theories ill have to spend $$$ that i don't have.
BTW I've got an 87-88 765GLE Turbo Intercooled
the question I have is what does an FPR thats stuck closed act like? When it idles, I hear a noise in ether the dash/firewall or under the car(fuel pump was my thought)the noise picks up speed, the noise peaks, and then a few seconds later, the car dies. the car does good on the highway, except for the occasional sputter. Usually dies at a stop light, but I've found that if I rev the engine in neutral and then put it into drive, most of the time it'll take off without any drama, other times it'll stumble, and die...
