I need to replace my pre pump in the 240. The pump has failed. I have two pics of the sending unit:

Ive read a lot of the postings, and the FAQ and Bentley. A lot of the posting talk about how difficult it can be to remove the lines. The line into the main pump looks like typical rubber high pressure line, with a worm/hose clamp on each end. The smaller line (return?) is held onto the sender with a worm clamp.
First, from the look of the sender, should I just plan on replacing it also? The tube stubs look so rusted, wondering if they will crack when I try and remove the lines. The clamping ring is rusted, not sure if the tabs will even react against a the tool. My fear is the flange of the tank is so rusted, it will crumble.
Just looking for advice, from the looks of the photos, is this typical, and should I hope to just replace the pump, or plan on ordering a new sender, clamp ring, and pump, and do all at once. I just don't want to start the job, and not have the parts to finish, and be stuck.
Also a lot of the posts talk about a jacketed line, I don't see this in my two lines. are they after market?
