Rotor, meet Pad Backing, Pad Backing meet Caliper. 200 1990

My 90 245DL was just returned to me after several months (has 208K). Apparently the rear pads were low before I lent my brother the car. On the way home it sounded like I was dragging a metal slab against the ground when ever I stepped on the brakes. After further inspection I found the right rear pad gone and metal shavings on the rim. The rotor is scared up bad and needs to be replaced. The left rear is low but not gone yet.
Ok, no big deal, just need new rotors and pads, and probably some hardware. Except I need the car for the weekend and the grinding and lurching as I stop tends to make me think that it’s probably not safe to drive the car until I get it fixed. This does not leave time for delivery of rotors and other said goods. Autozone and Advance have everything that I need but I am leery about the quality and potential brake squeal that might happen because of the non OEM pads. Normally I like to use FCP Groton and would probably get Volvo pads and the ATE rotors, hardware and shims. Are there any brands I should get/stay away from, or should I just find a way to wait for the parts from FCP?

Thanks.
