Hi all, I have recently been tracking down several problems with my 89 240 Sedan. I have posted about them a couple of days ago. I now have a different problem.
Backstory:
It had been getting crappy gas mileage, so I checked the codes and it gave me an 02 sensor code, so I figured that was my problem. I checked the voltage at the 02 sensor, and it stayed around .9v, so I figured it was bad. I bought a sensor off ebay, got it installed this weekend, and drove the car for a bit. I then got the 2-3-2 and 1-1-3 codes for it running rich. Well I didn't think much of it and drove it yesterday for a while when it died suddenly. So I went and bought another FPR and installed it. I drove it home(10 min) and it hasnt died (yet).
I checked the codes, and they are fine as of now. I did however, check the voltage at the O2 sensor, and it reads around .35 volts when the car is warmed up, but the voltage does not vary like before I replaced the sensor, only it is reading lean instead of rich this time..
I am stumped... I am assuming this is a computer problem and not the wiring, considering I would get no reading if wiring was bad, correct?
Any way to check this?
Thanks.
