940 dies then restarts 900

I have a weird problem with my 93 940 turbo. It will lose all electrical power, stalling the engine, shutting off headlights, dashboard, everything. Sometimes it restarts instantly on its own, sometimes it takes a few minutes. Whenever it does it the radio code neeeds to be reset. Any ideas? Thanks
