Brief flash of bulb failure lamp 200

This may have been covered before, so if so, please excuse the post.

My 1985 245 GL has just started flashing the bulb failure Idiot lamp at me when I apply the brakes. The lamp flashes on for a brief second, and then goes out. The brake lamp bulbs are both working, as is every lamp on the car. Any ideas on this one?
