Brake pedal feel question after hose replacement 200 1986

I just replaced all the brake hoses with new OE kind and ATE Blue brake fluid this past weekend. I wasn't having any problems, but it was time for a fluid change and I had the original hoses on the car, so I figured for safety reasons, it was time to replace the hoses. I thought with the new hoses, the pedal would feel a little harder, but it feels the same as before. Not that I'm complaining, but is this normal or should I just be happy I have newer and safer brake hoses?

Thanks.
