The center support bearing on my '92 wagon is whining. So am I.

I have three options for repair (well, four, really)- been doing a lot of brick work lately so I am wondering which is best and least time consuming.

1. Lube bearing by injecting grease of some sort. Replace at a later date.

2. Replace entire driveshaft/center support assembly. I have a complete, good driveshaft with new center support bearing (about a year old) from an '88 240. I could swap that in.

3. Use my existing driveshaft, and replace the bearing and hanger assembly (the right way). I have the tools to do this, but maybe it will take some time as my old bearing is probably rusted to the shaft.

4. Ignore problem until bearing completely seizes!

What are your thoughts?
