b18 power , what to expect? 120-130

Today I had basically my whole front end rebuilt and it feels great. I dropped a lower A frame a while back and decided to do the whole front end up. the thing is.... my engine seems to run fine ,real smooth with no knocking or ticking at all yet for some reason to me it don't seem to have the power I think it should have when going through the gears!! Maybe I'm expecting more then a B18 provides I'm really not sure I'm not that familar with these motors. are there any suggestions that could give my 122 some more pep other then a engine rebuilt? or things to check for. I have a weber set up on there and it seems to be functioning fine .once again thanks
