Found the source of the noise 200

To recap, I had begun to hear some form of grinding noise coming from one of my wheels. As the week progressed, I began to notice that it was only at slow speeds and was not affected by applying the brakes.

I check the center support bearing. Facing the rear of the car, the rubber "seat" had separated at the bottom and the spring was sticking out enough to rub on the drive shaft. After having no luck in reseating the spring, I removed it. Drives fine and no noise.

My question: What will happen now?

Trey
