Stall, weak idle when braking 200 1985

Hello everybody,

I just inherited an '85 245, free but condition almost entirely unknown. When I got it, I noticed that the idle would drop pretty bad when I braked at a stoplight/stopsign (in Drive, foot on brake). It also had a generally weak idle in Park (it would occasionally completely die).

I cleaned the throttle body and idle air control valve, and patched up some hidden tears in the acordian hose...

and now it idles great in Park, but still has issues when I stop the car with my foot on the brake in Drive or Reverse. It also seems to bog down a bit (some lurching, maybe misfiring?) when I accelarate from a stop. It odes drive fine when I am maintaining speed.

Any advice on what to check on next?
