First time I've pulled an engine myself. In the past I've "supervised" while dad did it. This time it was all me. It kinda shows.

I'd always heard that no matter how thorough you were, you would inevitably forget to detach something and find out only when it broke. One of the things I forgot to detach was the throttle cable. Turns out the cable was strong enough to bend the pulley bracket way back before breaking. I think I got it hammered back into shape though. Mostly. It wasn't pretty before I bent it back.

I think I also broke an injector possibly. The D ring I used apparently leaned against it while the engine was in the air.

Anyway, I think I managed pretty well for my first time. I plan to store it until either the tranny or the engine is needed. If I wind up with some money one day I'd like to do an n/a build, maybe a stroker.
Now to strip the suspension down...
