Ok, I would like to know what I am working with here. 1992 244 Auto. All this Overdrive talk is making me paranoid I believe. When I go driving, the car starts off in 1rst, shifts to second, then to third, and then to fourth. If I hit the O/D button, it goes back to third. Does this Indicate that the O/D is working? On my 96 Auto Jeep, it goes 1rst, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and the O/D. Hitting the O/D button in the Jeep takes it out of O/D and out of fourth. Should the Volvo shift again after fourth? Sometimes I think it does, but its impossible to tell with that damn clock. I'm getting 23.9 mpg.
