I have a 90 240. I have read about the wrist-pin knock. I'm fairly sure thats whats going on with mine. My question is will a heavier oil help quiet it down some. If so what weight would you recommend. I guess I'll try to kill two birds with one stone. I also have a leak that seems to be at the back of the transmission. Any ideas what could be leaking? A rear seal where the transmission mounts to the drive shaft? Is that a DIY job or would you need a press? Thanks
