Brake time 200 1989

Going to do all four wheels, and need some guidance on parts.

The car is driven about 7500 miles per year, most of it a local commute, only occasional longer, higher speed trips. I do take it out on the interstate once a month for a half hour run at turnpike speeds. The last set of front pads lasted 75K miles. Not sure about the backs - they were on the car when I got it 80K ago.

I'll be doing the rotors and the pads, new hardware, and shims.

FCP has a variety of pads and rotors, at a wide variety of prices. I don't mind spending the extra money for higher quality, but at the same time, don't like spending extra money for little or no return.

Any thoughts on the pros and cons of Genuine Volvo vs. aftermarket types (PBR pads, ATE, Brembo rotors, e.g.) would be appreciated.
