What's with all the put down's? 200 1985

I just read a thread where the guy is looking at a nice low mile 245 with the M47 transmission. This sounds like a very nice car.

Some of the answers that I see condemn the AW-70 transmission, which makes absolutely no sense to me. Another posted against the factory roof rack, and yet another the seat material.

Have any of you ever stopped to consider that someone else might not have one like you want one to be? It's about choice. That's why Volvo offered different trim levels, as well as options.

Personally, I would not think about owning one with a manual transmission, but to each his own. I like the way that mine looks with the roof rack, and I use it when transporting my giant scale model planes, so it's not useless. I happen to like the Corona wheels too, and since I wanted leather seats, I went for the GL package.

Excuse the rant, but I've heard enough put downs.

Bill
