Automatic Transmission Problem 200

After a transmission oil leak (repaired by simply tightening loose pan bolts) I put in the Dexron IV that says it is compatible with the Dexron IID that the manual wants (I can't find Dexron IID).

Now, while shifting upwards the automatic transmission works excellent, but when coming to a stop, it shakes and seems like it is trying to stall the engine. I've tried manually downshifting with the transmission lever, but the vibrations still happen when coming to a stop. It lessens when the transmission warms up.

Any ideas? I know these trannmissions sometimes don't like new oil - this one doesn't.

Thanks
Joe
