this 740 turbo has the manual 4 speed with overdrive. Engine has lately been occationally stalling out at lights ,but sometimes at 30 or even 40 mph. 2 to three stalls per car operation of an hour or more.(generally in first 10-15 minutes of operation and some days it works A-OK with no stalls When at higher speeds and stalls,I drop it into 3rd & pop the clutch I get zilch-nothing-not even a mini crank.I pull to the side of the road, wait 3 minutes and it almost always starts right up.I'm a grade c+ back yard mechanic (orC-) and am guessing the electronic control unit.Any reason the likelYhood is to start looking elsewhere?Plugs wouldn't cause this ,nor even a badly worn distributor cap.A coil maybe? I would hope that popping the cluth w/o results should tell a good mechanic the likely cause. Any bits of very likely causes? I sure love this manual tranny! Reminds me how fun a "sports" car can be.
