Swap '93 Volvo 240 A/C System into '83 240? 200

I'm wondering about the possibility of swapping in an a/c system from a '93 Volvo into an '83 model 240 that I have. The '93 model was totaled and the system was in good shape before the accident. I have a non-working a/c system in the '83 model car now that has the York compressor, but swapping out to the Sanden unit from the '93 won't be a problem as I have the parts to do that (brackets, etc.) as well. I want to use the system from a '93 model as I want one that was set up for r134a from the get-go.

I'm aware that the entire system will have to be exchanged but I'm not scared of doing that as I do engine swaps, etc. in these cars all of the time. I know this will be a fair amount of work, but as long as the holes in the firewall for the hoses/lines are the same, I think it would be possible.

Any words of advice?

Thanks!
