I'm just curious - has anyone rebushed the throttle shafts on their SU's at home? I found these two articles:

which actually made the job seem pretty do-able for the home mechanic. Of course, the thought of completely botching the job has me thinking twice... or three times.


I'm anticipating a wave of "just pay someone to do it properly, you cheapskate!!" responses, but thought I'd see if anyone has successfully completed such a repair.
