I'm seeking advice on my 960 that surges while under power (getting to highway speed). The pressure on the fuel rail is about 38, but I understand it should be about 40.
The fuel filter was replaced and there was some water in the fuel but that was 2 tanks ago. This condition is more noticible when the air conditioning is on but we're also experiencing difficult starting and the car sometimes stalls at low speeds.
My mechanic told me to put 16 oz.of rubbing alcohol in the tank and then fill up...he has also eliminated the coils at each cylinder and a couple other potential electrical issues.
Has anyone experienced this before or have advice on how to repair?
Thanks
