Question about door glass trim 200 1983

Hey,

I was looking at my 240 tonight, trying to install the tach (can't find the wire) and ended up fixing the messy bumper install of the previous owner. Anyway, I opened the driver's door, and noticed that some of the black had chipped off of the trim, and it was bright underneath. Did Volvo use the same stainless trim that they used earlier, and just paint it black? If so, I'd love to have shiny door trim on my car!
