To Buy or Not to Buy... 444-544

A fellow Brickboarder from the 140-160 side needs some advice! A late model 444 has recently come up for sale on my local craigslist:http://montana.craigslist.org/car/778136561.html
Is this a car that I could use as a daily driver once I do some body and paint work? Is there anything specific to the 444s that I should look for (I have read basic buying advice for the 544s)? The year that the fact it is a 444 makes it hard to resist, even if I don't need another project!
