Throttle position sensor LH 2.4 200

My '93 245 (LH 2.4) just developed a hunting/searching idle. Just added known good AMM which fixed prior rough running. Doesn't stall, and has great power. Recently cleaned throttle body, IAC; replaced fuel filter and in-tank pump.

I ran a few tests on the throttle sensor as per Bentley, and found that there is continuity to ground at contact 2 (middle contact) in all throttle positions. According to Bentley, there should only be ground continuity at contact 2 at closed throttle. At WOT, contact 3 has ground continuity (up to spec). The audible click is intermittently not audible when opening/closing throttle.

I think this sensor is toast and I need to find a new throttle sensor. What do you all think? I haven't heard of these going bad too often.

Tnx.
