Dealer Disaster - Installed Wrong Parts What Should I Check?? 900

The local Volvo dealer installed the wrong rear shocks and parking brake assemblies on my 95 960. They said they matched the part numbers and year/model, and Volvo sent the wrong parts, which they then installed.

Apparently this caused the parking brake cables to be to short, and the drums to push out. To accommodate this they ground the rotors out. It was after this that they realized the shocks and parking brake cables were wrong. On Friday they ran into trouble, and had the national Volvo rep looking over my car, but they still have it, after a week.

So here are the questions.

First, knowing they have messed this service up royally, what should I specifically demand be replaced, or double checked in the suspension?

Second, what damage to the car could have been done from installing the wrong rear shocks and parking brake assembly (plus grinding the rotors to hell)?

Third, given the potential problems, is it wise for me to take it to another Volvo dealer and have them double check things with a report, and if so what should I specify they check?
