D-Jet Idle Air Control Valve Options 1800 1972

Hi All

Seeing that the stock Idle Air Control Valve is currently unavailable, has anyone out there had success retrofitting say a K-Jet Valve in there instead? And if so, where did you find it best to wire a hot lead in? Besides a K-Jet deal, has anyone used a (dog forbid) non-Volvo or non-Bosch valve?

Many thanks,

Jim
