So my car ('85 244) has a leaky heater core and no AC. So, I'm planning to install a fresh blower assembly (new motor, core, evaporator). I would like to install the later GM(?) style AC system running R134a. Does anyone know if my current blower housing will accept the newer evaporator? Also, what else besides a drier/condensor/compressor will I need to install in the way of wiring? Is the only thing that needs to be switched on the compressor to make the setup work?
