OK, here's my issue. I replaced my coolant expansion tank hose when I replaced my radiator. All my hoses are now new, including at least one of two heater hoses... :/
Anyway, When I replaced the hose, I found that the piping from the turbo to the expansion tank was corroded apart, and having just bought some hi-temp epoxy putty, I used that to patch it. I wrapped it around the entire tube for about an inch and a half, and now, about a month later, there's significant coolant leaking from around the hose.
Is the tubing replaceable separate from the water jacket? Am I looking at a nasty job? I'm taking a welding class and maybe I could just spot weld it (with a torch) at the auto shop. It seems like the whole tube is corroded and weakened though, and I don't want to keep patching it.
I think I have the Mitsu TD04 turbo.
In this photo, it's the tube farthest to the right.
