My '95 944 sets up a loud and annoying buzz/rattle inside the dash at about 65. I've come to believe it's wind vibration of the wipers, transmitting down into the wiper linkage, as it often stops for 5-10 minutes once I use the windshield washer. Usually if I just move the wipers without using the washer, it doesn't stop (don't ask me why). The noise is definitely inside the dash, not outside (windshield moulding, etc.).

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this, and if so, what they found up inside the dash. I'm hoping I can reach around up in there enough to find anything loose in the linkage, without tearing 90% of the dash out to get to it --- but I'm not terribly optimistic.
