Update on welded gas tank on 780 700 1988

I finally finished the brunt of the plastic welding on the badly cut up gas tank out of the 780. It got filled with water for a leak check and it leaked! Three pinholes, one from a pop rivet failure, which will have to be ground out and refilled. I'm hoping to have it back in the car by the weekend so we can get on to something else.
