What is the best brake caliper lube/grease? 900

What it the best brake caliper lube for the pins and brake pad metal to metal contact points? I have seen CRC synthetic brake caliper grease and Permatex 24115 silicone based disc brake lube. Is one brand better than the other and what is preferred silicone or synthetic based? Permatex offers both silicone and synthetic so what is the difference? The synthetic is more expensive.
