Big Pink Wire From Fuse box to Fuel pump 700

I have just one in tank fuel pump.(regina System) The big pink wire from the Number 11 fuse ( blue 15A )box runs back to the fuel pump I think. If I disconnect this wire at the fuse box and also at the fuel pump end shouldnt I get continuity when I do such a check ? Also to see if the fuel pump is getting voltage it is this big pink wire that I attach my voltmeter to, and to ground.
