SHould I buy this '93 940 Turbo? 900

I've decided against the 95 940, see other post.
Looked at a 93 940 Turbo with 223kmiles. Asking $1500.
Never wanted a turbo after the 242turbo high maintenance, but I can see that by 93 things have gotten neater, even the oil filter was moved from under the turbo! SO maybe, I should look at this. This is a replacement for the 90 745GL which has given me (and my daughter who drives it) insecurities.
{It's FOR SALE for $500.}
The 940 Turbo looks great, no rust, paint perfect, no rust underneath that I could see. Complete records since new, looks to have had dealer and lots of servicing.
What's wrong? Parking brake does not work, gas cap cover missing (how do people lose those things?), antenna lift/descent not working, left radio speaker cuts in /out, squeel from front of engine at idle, but goes away off idle (sounds like a bearing, not a belt), exhaust old (records indicate 50Kmiles ago).
Was not able to take it for a long ride, but a short trip up the street showed th turbo boost was available, brakes OK, idles smooth, no suspension looseness.
Only thing which I noticed was some vapor coming off the radiator after I loosened the pressure cap, not sure how that happenned. I don't think it sprayed over there, but why would relieving the pressure cause the radiator to leak or where did the vapor come from?.
Will watch for overheating on a test drive I guess.

Was going to offer $1000, as that is what the Edmunds site calculates with their "Used CAr APPraiser".

There is another car, a 93 240 with 110K miles, asking $2000, have not seen it yet......
So many cars, very little time................
