OD Light On But Is Working Fine - Relay ? 700 1988

AW70L Tranny. Lately OD lite comes on. Stays on for a while sometimes. Pushing button doesn't help. However OD is always working fine. Could problem be a bad OD relay ? Guessing lite on doesn't necessarily mean OD is turned off ? Seperate cicuits within relay for lite and for actual OD solenoid operation ? Oh yeah real dumb question : where is my OD relay located in this car('88 740GL wagon)? Thanks all.
