OD Light On But Is Working Fine - Relay ?/Problem Resolved 700 1988

Very Very odd resolve. Found & then took apart OD relay. Someone(I guess previous owner)had jammed a little shim of metal on one side of the double sided contact so as OD always had electric and was always working and on other side which I guess is for OD lite on dash they jammed a little piece of paper. I guess so as dash lite wasn't always on. Problem was that this little piece of paper was loose and moving about so somtimes dash lite would come on and sometimes it would be off. However at all times OD worked correctly/was engaged as metal shim was in there solidly. I have a replacement OD relay on order.
