I want to spruce up the interior of a 1966 122S, but I'm not willing to spend the $650 swedishtreasures.com and www.vp-autoparts.com are asking for oem style seat upholstery; any know of a decent compromise? This car, a coupe with a black interior, has a perfect back seat so I really only want to replace the fronts and I want the seat upholstery/cover to look fairly stock. Upholstery, like that in the picture below, which I'm fairly certain isn't stock or the supposed oem style replacement, would be fantastic if was considerably then that $650. What have you all done to replace rotten vinyl seat upholstery?
