Install of Crank position RPM sensor; new motor mounts? 200

All,

Thanks to the folks who pointed me in the correct direction early January regarding my daughters 91 240. Several parts now installed to resolve "intermittent no-start/no-spark" condition, included Power module (between drivers headlight and battery), and also fuel pump relay. One brilliant gentlemen requested I change the #6 fuse and clean fuse holders...his advise helped me drive it 2 hours home on a Sunday when no one would tow across state lines (and I owe him a beer!)

Now I am installing the Bouchicord RPM sensor, approx. 12 o'clock above torque converter/ring gear. While I was able to remove the 10mm hex screw to get the dead/dying sensor out, I'm having fits getting the screw started back in with the new sensor to complete. I've used both a 3/8 ratchet and now 1/4 ratchet with 10mm sockets, swivels & most every extension I've got, but can't seem to get the screw started. Plenty of length on the extensions, up above the valve cover but yet the damned screw wants NOT to start. Can't reach a finger & thumb in the small space to start by hand, and I don't see anyway to put a box wrench and get more than about 5 degrees of rotation. Certainly you have been here, so please, some sage advice would be greatly appreciated!

Last, got a pair of the motor mounts which I need to replace, as her car shakes like crazy when cranking and my Bentley warns this can cause trouble with no-start condition. I'm looking for helpful hints (without a cherry picker) to change these mounts. I'll check Bentley to see what they say.

Thanks in advance, all!

Duane
