Weird problem with my windows. Electrical? 900

Hi everyone,
I have a 1994 940 turbo wagon. Something weird happened with my windows. The windows on the driver's side (both front and back will not move up or down). Unfortunately the driver's side window is down and will not move up. The passenger side windows are fine (both front and back).

Also, every so often the gas guage reads empty even though I know I have gas in the tank. It doesn't happen every time, only once in awhile. Do you think these things are related?
