Weird problem with my windows. Electrical? 900

Clean out the cluster in the driver's door first. This area collects a lot of dust and dirt because it gets so much use, and the other windows run through the driver's window console before they route to the individual doors.

I had a problem with my front passenger door....the window went down but would not go up. My family spent the afternoon at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland while I drove around trying find someone to fix the window. The switch worked intermittently and by luck I finally got it to go up, but I missed the afternoon with my family. I ended up disconnecting the window switch on the door so that it would not happen again.

A year later I took apart the driver's door cluster and the switch to the passenger window was loaded with dust. When I cleaned it and reconnected the passenger switch everything worked perfectly and it has ever since. I used some denatured alcohol and a tiny amount of dielectric grease on the contact points (like spook said...listen to him he is a smart guy).

The cluster on the driver's door is very important to the entire car. The dealer in Cleveland wanted to change the door regulator and charge me $800. He didn't even know enough to check the cluster.
