Throttle body question 200 1986

I have an '86 240 non turbo sedan. I'm looking at an '89 throttle body on a low mileage car to keep as a spare. The boneyard said that his cross ref guide says that it is not compatable year wise with my '86. I looked up the TPS and it covers years 83-93, but I can't find anything about the actual TB itself. It looks like what I have now. Any thoughts or someone who knows about these things? Thanks.
