Why won't my '83 245 project car start after sitting for 6 months 200

Okay, here's the deal. I'm still fighting with this "career" car. First, a little history on the project. I've been making a career out of a D24 diesel

to B23 gas car conversion for longer than I can remember. Anyway, thanks to the awesome help here on the BB I had it running last year before winter

although it was running rough. It spent the winter in the garage. Last weeek I decided that I would resume working on it to remedy the rough running problem

and after charging the battery I tried to start it but it won't start. The engine cranks fine but no start. So I listened for the in-tank pump (while the engine is cranking) and could

hear it through the filler neck so I believe that's good. Also I removed the #1 spark plug and verified spark and that's good too. I replaced the main fuel

pump last year with a new Bosch unit so I believe that's good too. Since the throttle switch is a used unit I thought I'd start there. I went to the Bentley

manual page 241-19 and tried to test the throttle switch but I couldn't get continuity through any of the terminals. The way I read this I am connecting

the ohmmeter probes on the switch terminals. Is that correct? Also, I have 2 other used throttle switches that I tried and I can't get continuity through

them either. Does anyone here know if I'm doing this right or have any other ideas why this car won't start? Thanks, Charles
